🧢 Crown: Deep purple structured six-panel construction, representing the primary color of Western Colorado University.
🎨 Front Logo: High-definition 3D embroidery of “Mad Jack,” a grizzled, angry mountaineer with a thick beard and a wide-brimmed hat, wearing a jersey featuring the number “00.”
🏷 Side Branding: Signature white or silver embroidered “Z” logo on the left temple, identifying it as an authentic Zephyr headwear piece.
✔ Fit: High-profile crown with an adjustable plastic snapback closure for a custom, secure fit.
🧵 Details: Tonal purple stitched eyelets on the crown and a classic top button for a unified look.
📏 Visor: Flat purple bill with tonal stitching, maintaining the cap’s bold monochromatic theme.
Why It’s Eye-Catching:
The “Mad Jack” mascot is one of the more unique and aggressive logos in the NCAA Division II landscape. By featuring him in a “00” jersey, the cap leans into a retro “team captain” vibe. The stark contrast of the detailed white and grey embroidery against the rich purple base makes the character’s fierce expression the immediate focal point of the hat.
